MEET THE MAKER

A qualified German doctor, orthopaedics specialist, aesthetics expert and an anti-inflammatory pioneer, Dr. Sturm is the name behind renowned beauty brand Dr. Barbara Sturm. The founder started her journey by studying medicine and sports at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, before beginning her medical career in orthopaedics. During this time, the innovator worked as part of a team to develop treatments for inflammatory conditions using the body’s own proteins and healing factors to stop the inflammatory process and help heal joint tissue.

Then, in 2002, Dr. Sturm translated the science from her clinical research and orthopaedic practice into the field of aesthetics. Understanding that aesthetics is a mixture of art and science, she was infatuated by the instant yet gratifying results of her patients.
